ClanOffice is a planning tool desinged for gaming clans.
It comes in two packages, a native win32 client and a websuite using php.
ClanOffice lets your clan members access data on wars, lanparties, member info, etc. All data is stored in a mysql database.
It provides a warplanner, so players can specify availability for certain wars, a calendar and a userdatabase.
The windows client adds an irc client and a simple mail client to these features.

"I started working on ClanOffice when i noticed that fellow clan members didn't take the time to check our site, no-one ever knew when a war was planned, and even worse, lineups had to be formed 10 minutes before the beginning of the war. What could i do? The only way to reach them was through irc. So why not build an irc-client which has a built-in support for the warplanner i used on the site?
This seemed like a good idea, you add a mail client to the bunch and you have a whole planning tool in just one program. No need to drop your webpage for this... just simply make it work together. This is where the phpsuite comes in, codenamed ClanOffice.net, it provides a html interface to the most important features of the win32 client, a warplanner and a calendar.
Layout is still basic, but it's clean and easy to use. Furthermore the sourcecode is easy to modify and clean.
This gives me 2 ways put the word out, so my mates know in time when a war is sheduled, and i know who will be available to play.
But the main program stays the win32 client. I based it's design on Ximian's Evolution, which is actually an outlook clone for linux. And as you could guess this is the hard part to program. Anyway, i'm working with c++ builder 6, so development advances quickly enough. You should be able to compile the cvs-sources using builder if you want a quick snapshot."

That's it for now, keep the software open!
